After Tejas’ Box Office Setback, Kangana Ranaut Seeks Solace at Dwarkadhish Temple: ‘My Heart Was Troubled for Some Days

On Thursday, Kangana Ranaut shared a bunch of photos of herself visiting Dwarkadhish temple in Gujarat, where she went to seek solace after the recent failure of her film Tejas at the box office. Kangana Ranaut shared solo photos from a boat as well as from inside the Dwarkadhish temple, which is dedicated to Lord Krishna, who is worshiped here as Dwarkadhish, or King of Dwarka. The temple is located in the city of Dwarka in Gujarat, and is one of the destinations of Char Dham, a Hindu pilgrimage circuit.

Sharing pictures of herself dressed in a golden saree for the temple visit, Kangana wrote in Hindi, “My heart was very troubled for some days.”

Kangana Ranaut continued, “I felt the urge to visit Dwarkadhish. As soon as I arrived in this divine city of Shri Krishna, Dwarka, and saw the dust here, it felt as if all my worries had melted away and fallen at my feet. My mind became calm and I felt immense joy. Oh Lord of Dwarka, keep your blessings like this. Hare Krishna.”

Kangana Ranaut’s action film Tejas failed to impress audiences, despite her efforts to promote it as a nationalistic film that would evoke a sense of pride among young Indians. The film earned a meager ₹5.5 crore nett in its first week at the Indian box office, opening to a paltry ₹1.25 crore nett. Stay tuned to know more about the film only with us.
