Salman Khan is certainly at the moment one of the biggest stars in Bollywood. Though he has moved amazingly over his career success ladder, but some of the films, which even turned blockbuster has ended rejecting them. This may come to a surprise to many but it would be interesting to know that the list of these movies, which he rejected and that turned a big hit at the box office. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge : Not many would know the fact the film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge was originally offered to Salman Khan and not SRK. But he has to leave due to some technical reason, which eventually led the film to SRK making him the king of romance in the B Town.
Baazigar : The Abbas-Mastan’s blockbuster, Baazigar is still remembered. But not many know the fact that it was originally offered to Salman Khan and not SRK. Perhaps he left since he found the character too negative that went against his image and the fate eventually landed the movie to SRK. The film helped him to establish SRK a competent actor giving him several awards.
Josh : The film had a very tempting character called Max Dias, which every other actor would often wanted to do. However, the character was initially offered to Salman Khan, which was due to the date issues and it eventually went to Shah Rukh. Salman missed a good opportunity to get a hit as he was still seen then with his sinking career.
Kal Ho Na Ho : Despite having a successful film career, SRK was seen winning lots of applauds from the critics and audience alike. Hence he got the role of Aman, which was initially meant to be given to Salman, but later the makers of the film wanted to give second lead in the film that went to Saif Ali Khan as he was not interested to take it.
Chak De India : It was a big hit of 2007 and also gave the best actor award to SRK. However, not many would know that it was initially offered to Salman Khan but he denied taking it due to not having the dates. Chak De! India then went to SRK, which eventually turned out a big hit at the box office thanks to the ace performance of the actor Shah Rukh Khan.
