As the biopic on Sanjay Dutt was seen releasing many of the critics went ga-ga over the film, right from the performance of Ranbir Kapoor to several other elements of the movie. However, there were a few critics who called the film as the weakest movie in Hirani’s oeuvre. The actor has confessed about his terms with the underworld gangsters Abu Salem and others. He wanted to kill Dutt but his plans were foiled as the actor got a close escape. In fact, it was his obsession for guns that led him to procure guns and have the illegal passion of arms leading to case against the actor. This important aspect of his life was missed in the film.
