Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor recently got married on the 14th of April in Mumbai. Taking to her Instagram handle, Alia, shared the official pictures of her wedding along with an emotional note. As soon as the duo got married, celebrities and guests who all attended the wedding started sharing beautiful pictures and videos from the wedding.
Well, if you have noticed that Alia was not wearing the Indian wedding chooda. According to a report in Hindustan Times, Alia did not perform her chooda ceremony on her wedding day due to her Hollywood debut. The chooda ceremony requires the bride to wear it for at least 40 days to a year, but, Alia will start the filming of her Hollywood movie shortly. Hence, the actress skip the ceremony for the time being.
The couple tied the knot today that is 14th April 2022. Taking her Instagram handle, Alia, shared the official pictures of her wedding along with an emotional note. Alia wrote, “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married.”
