25th IIFA Awards: Shah Rukh Khan Reveals Major Update on King and Shares Hosting Tips with Kartik Aaryan

Shah Rukh Khan and Kartik Aaryan graced the press conference for the 25th edition of the IIFA Awards, set to take place in March 2025 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. They were joined by Nora FatehiSmt. Diya Kumari, the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, and IIFA co-founders Andre TimminsViraf Sarkari, and Sabbas Joseph. As anticipated, Shah Rukh Khan captivated the audience with his witty one-liners and playful antics. SRK opened the event with a light-hearted remark, saying, “I didn’t realize it until 10-15 days ago that I’ve been working with Andre, Viraf, and Sabbas for 25 years (smiles).” He then turned serious, reflecting on their dedication: “I’ve known them for a long time and remember their hard work. They would even arrange chairs for various award functions.
They always showed us warmth and looked after us from the beginning to the end. It was destined for them to achieve wonderful things. I’ve enjoyed my time at IIFA, and we have some incredible memories—some wild ones we can’t discuss! Inshallah, I hope they continue to elevate Indian cinema on a global stage. ”He added, “Performing for them is always a pleasure. The production quality is exceptional. Initially, we were unsure about traveling to New York, but they were always there, picking us up early in the morning and dropping us off after the show. ”Shah Rukh also advocated for hosting the awards in India, supported by Prince Diya Kumari ji. “There’s no better place than Rajasthan and Jaipur for this event. You are all invited—please join us to celebrate the Indian film industry.
Later, Khan shared exciting news about his upcoming film King, stating, “I’m in the midst of starting a film shoot, but I rushed here for IIFA’s 25th anniversary. I hope to be in Jaipur on March 9.”Kartik Aaryan then took the mic, expressing his enthusiasm for hosting the milestone awards alongside Shah Rukh. After Kartik finished, SRK humorously quipped, “Kartik is hosting the 25th year. I’ll teach him how to start in Jaipur. You need to say, ‘Padhaaro mhaare IIFA’.”Kartik repeated the phrase, and SRK prompted him to add, “Padhaaro mhaare desh Rajasthan.”
