Saat Uchakkey, Beiimaan Love, Fuddu, Anna and Motu Patlu: King Of Kings 1st Week Box Office Report

Saat Uchakkey, Anna, Beiimaan Love and Fuddu

Last Friday, hordes of film hit the theatres, which include Saat Uchakkey, Beiimaan Love, Fuddu, Anna and Motu Patlu: King Of Kings along with the much hyped film Mirzya. However, looking at the footfalls of these pre-Diwali releases, hardly any film was able to perform the way it was supposed to be.

In fact, the last Friday has simply kept some of the multiplex screens away from operations whereas the night shows at the single screen theatres were even seen getting cancelled as it futile exercise to run shows with barely any heads catching up the films. At least these screens managed to save some cost on maintenance with these releases. The multiplexes were expecting some surge for the film Saat Ucchake considering some amount of word of mouth buzz, but it failed to work over the box office.

Next is the film Beiimaan Love was panned by the critics all across the media but again it failed to give much of the collection at the box office. Fuddu was even seen losing the battle despite some hype for the film, while the biopic made on social activist – Anna failed to gain much at the box office despite having the tag of tax free status.

The film Motu Patlu: King Of Kings was seen having good fan following over the TV but again it failed over the box office. In fact, all these movies together failed to collect around one crore, which speaks volume about the story at Box Office. Talking about Mirzya, the box office collection for the film tolled to around 11 crores. All in all it was a bad week for the box office to witness a decent business at the end of the day. This Friday again we have a slew of movies, which is again going to have the same story at the box office.
