After the passage of one week, the Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar starring film Wazir managed to do too little too late. The film has a very dull opening on its first day and similar was the story with its first weekend box office. The film had expectation to gain during the weekdays; however, it failed to give any mullah to the film. Right from the Monday to the Thursday during the weekdays, the film managed to get a very low collection, which isn’t is expected from a film having veteran actors from the B Town like Big B and Farhan Akhtar.
Comparing this film collection with the other films from these lead actors, the collection of Piku and Shaadi Ke Side Effects , Wazir had less amount of Mullahs in its bad. These said films managed to get 31and 40 crores respectively, which is certainly not the case with Wazir. As per reports, the first weekend box office collection for Wazir tolled to around 29.5 crores, which is certainly low as expected by the duo stars in the film. On the other side, the big releases like Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale continue to get a huge collection. So, for Wazir its bad news still, which is likely to continue in the coming weekend and the weekdays as well.
