In fact, the very first six days, it broke the record of the lifetime collections of the big Baahubali: The Beginning (Hindi). Now, after the end of the first week, the film featuring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in the lead roles have now entered into the strong league of Rs 500 crore club considering the domestic and overseas collection in the last 7 days. The film has been on the 12th position in the top collection movies’ list and is all set to break the records of the Aamir Khan starrer movie Dhoom 3 and is all set to surpass the collection very soon.

The film 2.0 is all set to beat the collection of other movies as well, which include Tiger Zinda Hai, Sanju, Padmaavat, and Sultan. The other films that have surpassed 1000 crores at the box office with its gross collection include the Aamir Khan’s film PK, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan starring Salman Khan. And then it will compete the worldwide collections of the films like Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and once again another Aamir Khan film Dangal. Thanks to the enormous fan following of the South Indian star Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, the film has got an overwhelming response. Also, the makers were able to impress the critics with dominant use of graphics and VFX effects along with incredible performances by the lead actors in the film. Also, the content as compared to the prequel was excellent and competent enough to attract the audience in a big way.
