Last week, three movies hit the theatres – Main Aur Mr. Right, Badlapur Boys and Lingaa. The latter did really had a great opening, however, the other two was a disaster over the box office. Both the movies had a very dull start, which had similar trends the coming week as well, thanks to the Lingaa, which dominated the entire week till the next giant movie PK into the fore crushing them together making them vanish from the scene all together.
The collection for Main Aur Mr. Right comes to around 60 lakhs at the end of the end, while the movie had Barun Sobti and Shenaz Treasurywala in the lead roles, while similar was the story with Badlapur Boys, which even failed to cross the figure of 50 lakhs at the end of first week. Hence both the movies pitted bad over the box office. Now with the advent of PK at the theatres, things really turned bad for the duo movies. No more hopes for the movie to recover even the basic cost incurred over the making of these films.
