Manjari Phadnis make her debut in movie Jaane Tu.. Ya Jaane Na, well, yes its the Imran Khan’s debut movie, which had her so called girl friend in the movie whom he finally breaks up. Well, yes she is none other than Manjari Fadnis. She is a known actress for south Indian movies wherein she has worked in Tamil, Kannada and Malyalam movies apart from the Hindi and Bengali ones. She was born in Mumbai but was brought up in Pune. She comes from a non filmy background as her father works with Indian Army and was even seen moving at different places in India due to the transferable job. However, she calls herself as a typical Marathi Mulgi since she was brought up in Pune.
Wiki : Manjari Phadnis never wanted to be into acting, however, her destiny brought her into this domain. Her entry into acting was just an accidental thing as she participated in the Indian TV show at Channel V in India, which is an Indian version of International Reality show called Popstars. She was among the only eight participants at the said TV show who later slipped to the group of four who formed a band called Asma to embark with their first movie called Rok Sako To Rok Lo in the year 2004. This soon gave her the break in south Indian and Bengali movies. Her Bengali movie called Faltu was a big hit and gave the National Film Award, while the other Mumbai Salsa was a big flop. This gave her the chance to work in the blockbuster movie of Aamir Khan called Jaane Tu … Ya Jaane Na released in 2008.
The very same year Manjari Phadnis did a Telugu movie called Siddu From Srikakulam followed by the Tamil movie called Muthiraj. She even recorded her first debut song in Tamil in the latter movie. The coming year, she got the chance to appear in a number of TV commercials including the known brand called Onida. In 2010, she gave her two Telugu movies called Shubhapradham and Inkosaari. She then appeared in the superhero movie called Zokkomon produced by Walt Disney starring Darsheel Safary playing the titular role. In the year 2011, she was seen doing a commercial film for the pen drives from the brand iBall. In the year 2013 she was seen in the adult comedy flick- Grand Masti, which was directed by Indra Kumar, starring Kainaat Arora, Maryam Zakaria, Bruna Abdullah, Aftab Shivdasani, Sonalee Kulkarni, Ritesh Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi. Her upcoming movies include a Malyalam movie called Mr. Fraud and the other called Wah Taj.

Alka Amin is an Indian TV actor and hails from Mumbai. She was born and brought up in Mumbai. She was born on 2nd November 1960 in Mumbai. She did her schooling and college in Mumbai and has been linked to theatres and later got the chance to work in movies and also on small screen. She got her chance to work in small screen with the TV show called Dil Dariya in 1988. She then got another TV show and then after a bit of gap got another called Anaro.
