Farah Khan is known in the Tinsel Town for a number of reasons. She is a director, producer, choreographer and actor of Bollywood. She is known the best for her Choreography skills for making out some of the best songs in Bollywood industry in more than 80 different movies. She is born and brought up in Mumbai, doing her college from St. Xaviers College from Mumbai. Since childhood days only, she had keen interest in dancing as she had kept Michael Jackson as her inspiration and thus wanted to make it as her basic profession. She is a self leaner and never took any formal training in this stream. Her brother Sajid Khan is a comedian and a filmmaker Bollywood, while Zoya and Farhan Akhtar are her cousins.

Wiki : Farah Khan had her own dance group, which performed and dealt with choreography to certain extent. She got the chance into this field with the movie Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, which brought laurels to her career giving a number of movies from SRK including Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. She also worked with overseas projects like Monsoon Weddng, Vanity Fair and Bombay Dreams, which even led her the best Choreography award along with getting a number of awards in the same category from Filmfare for movies like Main Hoon Na, which she even directed. Her second movie as a director was Om Shanti Om, which turned out to be one of the highest grosser of the year. Later she directed the movies like Tees Maar Khan, while did her acting debut with Bela Bhansali Sehgal’s movie called Shirin Farhad Ki To Nikal Padi.

Her current movie with SRK and Deepika Padukone is Happy New Year, which is scheduled to be released this Diwali. However, this was planned earlier in 2005, the multiple delays made the movie hit finally led it appear in November 2014. Apart from directing and choreography, she has trained a number of people including the Columbian pop star called Shakira for her song called Hips Dont Lie, which was showcased in MTV Video Music Awards in 2006. She has also made Kylie Minogue learn dancing steps for the song called “Chiggy Wiggy” appeared in a Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt starrer movie- Blue released in 2009. Besides, she also appears as a judge in a number of reality shows including Indian Idol, Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega, Dance India Dance, Li’l Masters, Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star, along with the other bigwigs of Bollywood.

She has bagged a number of awards including the best Choreography Award six times from Filmfare, three times Star Screen Awards for choreography and once for direction. Also, she won two Zee Cine Awards for direction and choreography. Besides, she has been always awarded with international Indian Film Academy award including twice the for Technical Excellence, once Best Debut Director and best choreography awards for the songs Desi Girl from the movie Dostana and Munni Badnam Hui from the movie Dabangg. She lives in Bombay and married to the Main Hoon Na editor called Shirish Kunder in the year 2004. The couple have triplets – one son named Czar, while the rest are two daughters known as Anya and Diva.

Abhiraj Minawala is a filmmaker and actor who is based in Mumbai. He basically hails from Gujarat wherein he was born and brought up at. He did his schooling and college from Gujarat and then headed to Mumbai to pursue his dreams in filmmaking. He was fond of movies and wanted to make his career in Bollywood, hence once he completed his education, headed to Mumbai to fulfill his dreams. It was a big of struggle for this man, however, soon with a passage of time, he managed to get the break in B Town.  He has come a long way in establishing himself in the industry.

He started working as assistant director with the B Town film called Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year starring Ranbir Kapoor released in 2009. Since then it was no looking back for him as he got one film or the other giving him the chance to learn and hone filmmaking skills. The next film he got was Band Baaja Baraat having Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma. The other films he did as an assistant director include Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Gunday, Fan and Sultan. This has given him the chance to work with top directors including Yash Raj, Manish Sharma, and Ali Zafar to name a few.

Besides, he has also tried acting in few films getting smaller roles starting with the film Aashayein in 2010 playing the party guy, while in 2011 worked as Luv Ka The End and then in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan as Shera the same year. In the year 2018, he will be doing his debut in direction with the film Loveratri starring Ayush Sharma and Warina Hussain which is produced by Salman Khan. The movie is releasing in September 2018 amidst the eve of Navratri. Talking about his personal life, he is married to Swetha in 2015 and they have been rating for a while before getting married to each other. Shonali Bose is a popular name in filmmaking. She is a known director, screenwriter and producer and best known for her movie Amu, which has exposed the suppressed history of genocidal attacks over the Sikh Community in 1984 after the assassination of Indira Gandhi. Shonali Bose is from Calcutta, while was brought up in cities like Delhi and Bombay. She did her graduation in humanities from the known Miranda House College followed by moving to the New York to get her masters in Political Science from the known Columbia University. During her college days, she was involved in activism and theaters as well and acted in a number of school/college plays and dramas.

Her career started with a role of an organizer at National Lawyers Guild wherein she directed live community TV in Manhattan in the US. This was soon recognized by the MFA Directing Program at UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. Her short films like The Gendarme Is Here and Undocumented along with the feature documentary called Lifting the Veil were screened in a couple of prestigious festivals and several other venues of the world. She has produced limited number of films, which include Amu through which she started her directorial debut along with doing the writing of script and production as well.

This film was a big success in India getting positive reviews. She has won seven national and international awards for this film, which include FIPRESCICritics Award, Gollapudi Srinivas Award for best first-time director and National Film Award for Best Feature Film in English. The book called Amu was written by her only, which became the screenplay of the film. She brought both the movie and her book with same title at the same time. In the year 2012, she co-authored Chittangong, which was directed by her ex husband. It revolved around the Chittagong armory raid of 1930. The movie has Manoj Bajpai as Masterda Surya Sen. Next is her recently released movie Margarita with a Straw starring the talented Kalki Koechlin, which showcases a girl having cerebral palsy. As far as her personal life is concerned, she was married to filmmaker Bedabrata Pain, however, she has now separated.
