Worldwide Trailer Launch of Ranbir Kapoor Starrer ‘Ramayana’ Locked for July 24

The global promotional campaign for Namit Malhotra’s highly anticipated cinematic epic, Ramayana, is moving into high gear. The makers have officially announced that the film’s first theatrical trailer will premiere worldwide on July 24, 2026.

The announcement follows the massive online buzz generated by the previously released “Rama glimpse,” which provided a first look at the film’s massive scale and visual style. Making the official announcement on social media, the production houses shared: “From Bharat to the world, the Ramayana trailer premieres worldwide on 24th July, 2026.”

A Two-Part Cinematic Spectacle

Envisioned as one of the biggest Indian mythological projects ever mounted, the story will be told across a grand two-part theatrical event:

Visual Ambition: The films are leveraging high-end VFX, emotional depth, and massive sets to translate the epic onto a global canvas.

Premium Format: Both installments are being custom-tailored for a worldwide release in IMAX.

Release Calendar: Ramayana: Part One is slated to hit theaters globally during Diwali 2026, with Part Two following a year later during Diwali 2027.

Powerhouse Cast & Production Credits

Directed by National Award winner Nitesh Tiwari (Dangal), the project brings together an elite ensemble cast alongside global technical collaborators:

The Ensemble: Ranbir Kapoor headlines the film as Lord Ram, starring alongside Sai Pallavi as Sita and Kannada superstar Yash as Ravana. The key supporting roles feature Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman.

The Producers: The film is produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in partnership with Yash’s Monster Mind Creations.

VFX Partner: The visual effects are being spearheaded by DNEG, the renowned eight-time Academy Award-winning global VFX studio.
