Just when Deepika Padukone visited JNU Campus, it created an uproar in the right-wing camps. They were quick to castigate the lady and her film Chhapaak which released this Friday. At one end, when we saw the political parties like Congress and Samajwadi promoting the Deepika Padukone film, the BJP and its workers were quick to oppose it asking everyone to boycott the film.
In the recent incident, the student’s unions in Bhopal affiliated to Congress and the BJP were seen distributing free tickets to people for films Chhapaak and Tanaji: The Unsung Hero film. Yes, you heard it right, the following tweet from ANI proves the same, have a look what the news reporting agency has to say on this issue:

The visit of Deepika Padukone at JNU Campus was blown out of proportion and many called it as right, while few in the B Town named as a political gimmick. On the other side, the BJP and the right-wing affiliates were quick to paint the actress as anti-national including Smriti Irani the BJP leader and MP from Amethi. This is likely to continue in the coming days as well. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
