The regional selections enrich the showcase with their unique flavors. Tamil hits like MinnaleMounam Pesiyadhe, and Kadhalar Dhinam are remembered for their evocative music and youthful romances, while Uyirullavarai Usha stands as an early example of Tamil love stories on film. Malayalam’s Premam explores the many phases of love with nuance, and Telugu’s Love Story offers a modern romantic narrative that has struck a chord with audiences.

For millennials, this showcase evokes memories of first dates and college romances. For Gen Z viewers, it’s a rare chance to experience these films on the big screen as they were originally meant to be seen.
