Tulsi Kumar is a playback singer and actress. She is the daughter of late Gulshan Kumar and Sudeh Kumari Dua and sister of Bhushan Kumar the owner of T-Series. She was born on 15 March 1986 in Delhi and raised in Mumbai. She did her schooling from Delhi and later headed to Mumbai with her parents to continue her education. Since she comes from a Music family she headed to become a playback singer. She started her career in Bollywood with the film called Chup Chup Ke with the song called Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, and Aksar.

Her first album came in 2009 called Love ho Jaaye, and soon she came out with her music video for the title track called “Mujhe Teri” from the film Paathshaala and then the song “Tum Jo Aaye” from the Ajay Devgn film Once Upon a Time in Mumbai that remained among the popular ones from her film. She got the chance to work with music composers and singers like Guru Randhawa, Pritam, Himesh Reshammiya, Anu Malik, Mithoon, Amaal Mallik, Jeet Ganguly, Meet Bros, Sajid-Wajid, and Arko Pravo Mukherjee to name a few.

Some of her recent movies for which she has given her voice include Why Cheat India, Luka Chuppi, Kabir Singh, Khandaani Shafakhana, Batla House, Saaho and the upcoming movie – Saaho. She has bagged a number of awards as well including GIMA Awards from 2010 till 2018 getting the International Women’s Day Award for Music. She appeared in her music videos as well doing her debut in 2015 with Mainu Ishq Ka Lag Gaya Rog. Talking about her personal life, she is married to a Delhi based businessman called Hitesh Ralhan in 2015 and the couple has a son.
