Industry megastar Salman Khan has officially stepped in to act as a mediator between Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar, aiming to resolve the ₹45 crore Don 3 dispute quietly and amicably before it escalates into prolonged legal warfare.
Acting as the Industry’s Elder Statesman
According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Salman Khan—frequently regarded as a protective, unifying figure in the Hindi film industry—initiated direct communication with both sides of the conflict to defuse the growing tension.
“Salman Khan is fond of Ranveer Singh, and is equally fond of the Akhtars too,” an industry insider revealed. “He picked up the call on both the stakeholders and has asked them to resolve their issues without hurting the future of their respective projects. He explained to Farhan that creative differences have been a common occurrence in the industry for decades, and he also had a long chat with Ranveer, understanding his stance. He is playing the mediator to ensure that no one feels sabotaged.”
