Veteran film trade analyst and journalist Taran Adarsh was recently honoured with the prestigious ‘Digital Icon of 2025’ award at a ceremony held in Hyderabad. This accolade, part of the Digital Icon Awards 2025, recognises individuals who have made significant contributions to India’s digital media landscape, particularly in the entertainment sector.
Taran Adarsh, born on June 13, 1965, in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, has established himself as one of Bollywood’s most trusted and widely followed trade analysts and film critics. Over the years, he has built a strong digital presence, especially on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter), where he shares timely box office updates, film reviews, and insightful industry analysis. His posts are frequently cited by entertainment journalists, production houses, and film enthusiasts, making him a key influencer in the Indian film industry’s digital space.
