102 Not Out 1st Day Box Office Collection

102 Not Out

Finally the movie 102 Not Out has hit today in the B Town. The film managed to get a decent reviews by most of the critics but as far as getting the positive reviews by the audience, it will take some time to prosper. The film is based on the life of two old men with different approach and attitude towards life. The film is based on a Gujarati play with the same title, which has Big B and Rishi Kapoor playing the lead role in it. The start cast though happens to be interesting but they have managed to give the best of the performances over the silver screen.

Now talking about the way the film has performed in the media, it has gained a decent rating and reviews. How about checking the way it performed. The film opened up with a meager occupancy in the morning, which went on to soar in the evening shows gaining the best of the collection at the box office. As per reports, the first day box office collection for 102 Not Out reached out to around 2.5 crore, which is still a decent figure considering the fact that the film had a low buzz and we have still the Hollywood movie of the Avenger’s franchise, which seemed to be doing well over the box office.

Now, let’s check why the film has performed in such a way. Well, the basic reason for the dull collection is due to the fact the film has failed to promote it over the box office. Also, the film has been facing too much of competition from all quarters of the movie.  The film however, will get a boost in terms of collection in the first weekend with the collection crossing the 10 crore. Also, there are chances that the film will gain a decent word of mouth buzz in the media. If this goes well then the collection can even cross 15 crores. But at the moment things are not that rosy for the movie. So, what do you have to say about this do let us know about your views by commenting on the same.
