The R Balki’s movie Ki And Ka was a solo release with no big hurdle coming in its way. This certainly doesn’t really come in the form of ICC World Cup T20 Matches or any other Hollywood movie coming on the same day. Even the previous week released movie like Rocky Handsome failed to get much moolah so forget about earning this week. Hence the film after a decent start of 7.41 crores was seen trending in the upward direction giving a good boost in the coming days of 8.71 crores over the domestic box office. The third day (Sunday) also witnessed one step forward giving a good collection at the end of the first weekend.
As per reports, the first weekend box office report of Ki and Ka tolled to around 25.23 crores, which is actually a decent figure at the end of the three days of its release. The film is directed by R Balki and focuses on gender role reversals, while it has Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The weekdays of the film has good amount of chance to get good amount of moolah in these days till this Friday when you have another films releasing this Friday. While the Karan Johar film Kapoor and Sons releasing two weeks seems to be going a an average pace and the fact of the matter is it has earned what it really deserved so at the moment you do not have much to regret for the film like Ki and Ka.
