Ganesh Chaturthi is here & TV celebs are welcoming Bappa at home with decorated pandals and modaks

As Ganesh Chaturthi arrives, just like everyone, our TV celebs are also happy and excited about the arrival of the Bappa at their home. They are ready for the warm welcome of Lord Ganesha with decorated pandals and modaks. No doubt, the 10-day festival brings joy to everyone’s life.

Tv actors have talked about their plans to enjoy and celebrate the festival this year while sharing some of their unforgettable memories.

KKK11 winner Arjun Bijlani planned to bring home his Bappa a day before Ganesh Chaturthi. While sharing his wishes with fans, the actor said, “I am a huge supporter of eco-friendly Ganpati idols & today we are also bringing Bappa at home. I would like to thank my family, friends, and well-wishers for always including me in their prayers. GANPATI BAPPA MORYA.”

Kundali Bhagya fame Abhishek Kapur also talked about the festival revealing how special this year’s Ganesh Chaturthi would be for him as his mother came to celebrate with him.

He said, “Bappa has been visiting my house for the last six years. This time, I am more happy and surprised as my mother came all the way from Delhi to celebrate the festival with me. I like the vibe of the city as well as the delicacies of modaks.”

He further added that his excitement will increase if it rains during the festival, especially on the day of visarjan. “This festival is one of the major events for people in Maharashtra and people dance out their hearts in visarjan incredibly. If it starts raining, it will be like a cherry on top. I love to host everyone when family and friends gather to enjoy and do aarti.”

Senior actress Rajashree Thakur who was last seen in Star Plus show Shadi Mubarak and now in Sony TV’s Apnapan also spoke about her this year’s celebration. While recalling how she used to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi in her childhood days, she said, “I have been celebrating this fest since a very young age. We used to celebrate it at my mom’s house and now we do it with my family for seven days. This is just like Diwali to us and we actively participate in decorations.”

She also added that there is always a grand celebration as she has a joint family of about 30-40 members. It used to be a 12-day celebration, but now they celebrate for seven days. There is a lively festive spirit filled in the entire house. They do aarti, make prasad, and make the most out of their celebration. She becomes emotional even today like she used to be in her childhood and cries during visarjan.

Actress Neeharika Roy who plays the lead in Pyar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan is celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi for the first time in Mumbai which has increased her excitement.

When asked about the best thing amid the entire fest, she answered, “The best part is when people install Ganesha’s idol in their home as it brings lots of positivity and good vibes at home. I am also planning to visit some of my friends and popular Ganpati pandals to enjoy my first Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in Mumbai.”
