8 Bollywood movies which were so good that they shouldn’t have a sequel

Bollywood has good films and bad films. And then there are films which are great, so great that they have made a place for themselves in our hearts. These films are the ones that made us fall in love with Bollywood. These are the films that were so good that we do not want to spoil them with a sequel. Here are 8 Bollywood films whose sequel should NOT be made!

  • Chak de India
Chakde Movie
Chakde Movie

The one film that made hockey a national rage, the film which showed that SRK is not all about romance, that 16 not so famous faces can also pull off a film. A film which was so good that we don’t want to see Kabir Khan again.

  • Jab We Met
Jab We Met
Jab We Met

Who knew that Kareena and Shahid’s last film together would be such epic? It was so good that heroines in Bollywood are now divided in two phases- pre Geet and post Geet phases. The magic that Aditya and Geet created on screen was so breathtakingly beautiful that we do not want to see them again.

  • Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

Shankar Ehsaan Loy’s music, Zoya Akhtar’s direction, Farhan Akhtar’s poetry, Spain’s picturesque location, three childhood friends- what more do we need? This was one of the best films we had got in recent times and we surely don’t want someone to spoil the magic it weaved.

  • Kal Ho Naa Ho
Kal Ho Naa Ho
Kal Ho Naa Ho

Back in 2003 when this movie released we all fell in love with Aman. This is the film that showed us how unconditional love can be. Naina, Aman and Rohit made the perfect love triangle and even 12 years later, our hearts still ache when Aman passes away.

  • DDLJ
DDLJ
DDLJ

And this comes from a crazy SRK fan. The film itself had so many elements in it that it is impossible to come up with a sequel that would contain the same elements.

  • Ekk Main Aur Ekk Tu
Ekk Main Aur Ekk Tu
Ekk Main Aur Ekk Tu

Although this movie didn’t do quite well at the box office, but it brought the fresh change that Bollywood needed. How it showed that a guy and a girl can only be friends in the end was such a welcome change!

  • Barfi
Barfi
Barfi

No matter how much I write about this film, it will still feel less. Anurag Basu and Kolkata did all the magic. We cannot imagine another Barfi and Jhilmil again.

  • 3 Idiots
3 Idiots
3 Idiots

3 idiots wasn’t the highest grosser for no reason. RajkumarHirani is an awesome storyteller, no doubt. But we still don’t want to give up on the flavour of Rancho, so great it was!
