Pankaj Tripathi talks about ‘media trials’ in the Bollywood industry

Actor Pankaj Tripathi is known for his realistic acting and his outstanding characters, every time he does a film he leaves a remark on the audience. Every time actor creates an impression on the audience due to his genuine acting and excellent character. Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach, which debuted on an OTT platform yesterday, or on August 26, is already getting raving reviews. Recently the actor gives his opinion on up about ‘media trials’ and the reason why that happens in Bollywood Industry.

In conversation with Pinkvilla, Rohan Sippy and Pankaj Tripathi were asked about the media trials and what is seen in the media as the opposite of reality. Rohan Sippy stated, “This is what we want to portray. We are not commenting on it but we are showing how things go. In the show, there are two high profile trials going on simultaneously and in this season, we are focusing on how the family deals with the same. We have tried to show how the protagonist deals with the courtroom trial as well as the media trial, and there are separate judgements. So it is for the viewers to decide how they see it. Every media hub wants news and scoops and this is how it is. 

He further said, People have phone and have access to things but we have to have more maturity on how to handle things.” talk about media trials and how Bollywood as an industry is attacked, he said, “It is an open industry and a PR driven industry. In the show, we have tried to show that there needs to be sensitivity in the case, before putting anyone on the trial. People have the freedom to think and perceive the story. Internet is a circus and you don’t really know what happens here.”

 Criminal Justice Adhura Sach, in which Purab Kohli, Swastika Mukherjee, Gaurav Gera, and Deshna Dugad also appear. The show, which was directed by Rohan Sippy, will have its Disney+ Hotstar debut on August 26. The actor will then be featured in the movie OMG 2 – Oh My God! 2 with Akshay Kumar after appearing in the Prime Video series Gulkanda Tales with Kunal Kemmu and Patralekha.
