Bollywood has always made us proud whenever Biopics arrived. It’s always great to talk about the people who have made their country proud by sacrificing themselves and dedicating their life to the country. Here’s the list of eight Bollywood movies that made us even prouder.

M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story

The movie was about the former Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni which showed how he dedicated his life to his nation and also made his country proud by winning world cups for the nation.

Soorma

It was a biopic of a great hockey player Sandeep Singh. The movie showed how even after being gunshot and paralyzed for almost 1 year he came up and joined the Indian National team to play hockey once again.

Neerja

Neerja is a movie based on the life of Neerja Bhanot. The movie showed when it came to saving herself or the kids she worked as a shield to save three young children from the gunfire from the terrorists.

Mary Kom

The movie shows the dedication of champion boxer Mary Kom. She even after having kids made her country proud by winning medal after medal.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

“Flying Sikh” or Milkha Singh is a name that no countryman can forget. The movie shows the obstacles he faced to reach the heights of being an Olympic medalist.

Dangal

The movie portrayed Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughters, Geeta and Babita. The movie showed the dream of a father of a gold medal and his and her daughter’s dedication to winning for their country.

Mission Mangal

The movie was based on the ISRO scientist sending a satellite to mars. After the insertion of the satellite on Mars on 24 September 2014, India became the 4th country to do that and the 1st country to do it in the first attempt.
