Gul Makai and Happy Hardy And Heer 1st weekend box office collection

Happy Hardy And Heer and Gul Makai 1st weekend

It was a busy Friday last week when we saw three movies releasing on the same day. These include Saif Ali Khan’s starrer Jawaani Jaaneman along with Divya Dutta’s Gul Makai and Himesh Reshammiya’s Happy Hardy and Heer. However, apart from Saif Ali Khan starrer film the other two were seen with a very low buzz in the media and so was the collection of these two films at the box office. Well, let’s check how these films performed starting with Gul Makai.

This film is based on Nobel Laureate Malala and her inspiring story. However, the film had very bad ratings, right from the content, story, screenplay, music, performances and other things. Secondly, the star value of the film seemed at the lower side that did not impress the audience in a big way getting a low buzz. The film had 12 lakhs collection on day 1, while on the second and third day it went to score around 15 lakhs each. With these figures, the 1st-weekend box office collection went to score around 42 lakhs.

The other film release on the same day was the Himesh Reshammiya’s Happy Hardy and Heer. The film failed to garner any buzz in the media. The film opened up at the collection of around 12 lakhs and it went on to gain around 30 and 35 lakhs respectively for the coming two days on the first weekend. With this, the 1st-weekend box office collection for Happy Hardy And Heer scored around 77 lakhs. The weekday’s collections for both the films would be on the lower side as these are facing a tough time with Saif Ali Khan’s film.
