Vidya Balan and Sanya Malhotra unite for a biopic made on Shakuntala Devi
We have seen Vidya Balan as a talented actress doing roles that remain unusual in B Town. SHe has some special connections when it comes to biopic movies. The actress has a few including the film The Dirty Picture playing Silk Smitha the famous South Indian actress, and now we hear that she is the part of another biopic made on the life of NTR the late politician and actor from Telugu film Industry as she plays his reel wife. She is also the part of the other film called Mission Mangal yet another biopic with Akshay Kumar in it. Now we hear that she is also the part of another biopic movie made on Shakuntala Devi. The film is produced the popular filmmaker Ronnie Screwala and Anu Menon.
As per reports, the film now has the Dangal girl in it called Sanya Malhotra who is joining Vidya Balan to play one character in the said biopic. Last time we saw Sanya Malhotra in the film Pataakha directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and Badhaai Ho the sleeper film hit. She seems choosy when it comes to the film’s choice. We have heard , but the sources close to the film have shared the information. Recently Sanya was seen with Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone and Rani Mukerji along with others at the airport. She also spotted at the special screening of a web series aired at Netflix and many more similar places.
Now, talking about the film Shakuntala Devi, it will showcase the life of the Indian writer and mental calculator who was fondly known as the “human computer”. The lady was also the author of several other books based on issues like astrology, and mathematics to name a few. Her book called ‘The World of Homosexuals’ which was not her subject too was among her creative works where she has talked about her views on homofierce desire. Talking about Sanya Malhotra, she is also busy with another film by Ritesh Batra movie called Photograph along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and it will be even screened at Sundance Film Festival 2019. She is also in an untitled film of Anurag Basu with Aditya Roy Kapur.
