Bollywood actress and fashion diva Sana Khan who was last seen in Jai Ho opposite Salman Khan, her recently released T series film as a lead actress ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ and her upcoming movie Toilet Ek Prem Katha opposite Akshay Kumar, has incredible plans on this Women’s Day
Sana says “Don’t play the victim, Stand up and fight! Women’s are very special in every way but I get disheartened when I hear most of the women in our society are the victims of domestic violence and molestation. They are living in hell from one day to the next, but there is nothing they are doing to escape it. Women who are brave come out of it, be it an abusive relationship or marriage and stand up against it, and fight for justice while few of them are still playing the victim of the same feeling helpless and powerless.
If we are to fight against discrimination and injustice against women we need to start looking around our own people our own surroundings and help them, after all “Charity begins at home”. Today there are more than 1000s of women who are going through this but if u have managed to help even 2 of them and got them out of that prison life, you have made a huge difference and impact in their life. We should make conscious effort to educate the females of our society so they are self dependent. Women are supposed to be respected and given equal rights as the man. I hope women who are going through it, stand up against this and fight. Love yourselves ladies!
