Shubhangi Atre of Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai claimed that she doesn’t meet people for work over coffee or dinners, but rather in their office

Shubhangi Atre rose to prominence after portraying Angoori Bhabhi in the television series Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai. In a recent interview with ETimes, the actor said that she doesn’t meet people for work over coffee or dinners, but rather in their offices. She believes it is preferable to landing or receiving bad vibes. Shubhangi also believes that women possess the capability that tells them about the danger.

“Nowadays, you can shoot yourself on the mobile and send the tape for an audition. So landing up and experiencing wrong vibes personally is rare. Moreover, girls have a sixth sense that tells them if the person calling is serious about work or not. I am careful to meet only in someone’s office. If somebody still says that I should meet him outside over coffee or dinner, I will not go until I really know the person well,” Atre was quoted as saying by SpotboyE about what research she does before going for an audition.

Shubhangi has been playing Angoori Bhabhi onscreen for five years, replacing Shilpa Shinde. When questioned if she enjoys the show and if her character is monotonous, the actor stated that her character is not.

“Haan, toh kabhi kabhi yahan par bhi hota hai. Sometimes I do feel that way. But let me tell you that ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai’ is a cult show and Angoori Bhabhi’s character is written in such a manner that it has no monotony. I have new get-ups, sometimes there’s a horror track. Plus, I have been able to manoeuvre my way ahead – say, with a music video which is happening soon or a short film,” the actress said.
