Anushka Sharma Celebrates 8 years of Band Baaja Baarat taking down to memory lane
Its been exactly eight years before when we had Ranveer Singh doing his debut in B Town with the film Band Baaja Baarat. The film was produced by Yash Raj Films and this production banner bagged big on the box office. The makers had a talented star cast with their unique content and story backed with great performances. All this helped the film to do a good business at the box office. Ranveer Singh in the role of Cute Bittoo Sharma was a big hit. The movie also had given the fan fame director Maneesh Sharma his debut in direction.
If you look at the official page of Yash Raj Films at the microblogging site called Twitter, she shared a poster celebrating the eight long years of the film. Yash Raj Films called this film to be special with talented actors of B Town calling it to be a great association. Feeling the nostalgia, even Anushka Sharma also tweeted about it sharing the eight-year celebration poster with her fans. The film has given Ranveer his first Filmfare Award, which was given for the category of Best Male Debut, while Anushka had bagged the global award for this under the same category by the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA).
Both Anushka and Ranveer Singh have worked together in a couple of movies, which include Ladies vs Ricky Bahl again directed by Maneesh Sharma, which was released in 2011. In 2015 they were together in the Zoya Akhtar’s movie called Dil Dhadakne Do. Now, Anushka Sharma is looking ahead for her next film called Zero, which is all set to hit the screens on this Christmas Eve.
