According to news outlet ANI, which cited Arthur Road Prison officials, Aryan Khan will not be released on Friday. According to reports, the physical copy of the release order must arrive at the ‘bail box’ outside the prison by 5.30 p.m. to ensure that the release takes place that day. It’s unclear whether Aryan Khan’s release order was delivered to the bail box before 5.30 p.m. According to jail superintendent Nitin Waychal, jail personnel wait until 5.35 p.m., but if the release order arrives after 5.35 p.m., the case is moved to the next morning.
“We won’t give special treatment for anyone. The law is the same for all. The deadline for receiving the bail papers was 5.30 pm. That has passed. He won’t be released today,” an official told PTI.
According to sources, Aryan Khan is scheduled to walk out of jail on Saturday morning as a result of the last-minute delay.
The day had been stressful for Aryan Khan’s lawyers, who had been ready to continue with the papers all day. After 2.30 p.m., the Bombay high court announced the bail conditions, which said that Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha must post a personal bond of Rs. 1 lakh. While Aryan Khan’s lawyers went to the NDPS court to obtain the release order, Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla arrived on the scene to witness Aryan Khan’s’surety.’ She appeared in court and signed a one-lakh bail for Aryan Khan’s release after the court approved her documents.
