Aditya Roy Kapur is the filmmaker Raghupat Roy Kapur’s grandson. His mother Salome Roy Kapur was a model, dancer, and dance instructor from a family of artists, while his father Kumud Roy Kapur went on to become an Army officer. As a result, he is also the brother of the actors Kunaal Roy Kapur and Siddharth Roy Kapur.
