This Friday, you have two movies releasing – Baar Baar Dekho and Freaky Ali. Let’s talk about them one by one. The film has Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif in the leading role, while it is a Dharma Productions and Excel Entertainment joint venture. Well, when it comes to the promotion of the film, Karan Johar has himself taken responsibility in promoting the movie personally, which has really made a difference in the media in creating a decent pre-release buzz in the media. Also, the brand of Eros, which is attached to the film, also makes a great difference for the film making it a mega release in the media.
So, better rest assured that the film Baar Baar Dekho is likely to have a good opening; however, it would be interesting to see how far the film would carry ahead in terms of opening. Well, as per experts and the current buzz, the first day box office collection is likely to touch the 10 crore mark for sure. As the matter of the fact that this film has been in the list of most awaited movies in B Town by different segments of the audience, hence the collection would simply escalate in the coming two days during the first weekend of the film release.
The other release is Freaky Alie, which has Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the key role produced and directed by Sohail Khan. The man at the center has the record of giving decent films with incredible performances be it Manji- The Mountain Man or Raman Raghav 2.0, he has been simply outstanding in his performances. And since Sohail Khan is backed by his brother Salman Khan for its promotion, the film is also having a decent buzz in the media. Thus the trio in the film is more likely to get a decent grossing film at the end.
Freaky Ali is certainly going to be a best bet for Nawazuddin Siddiqui for being the leading man in the film. Though the film would lag behind from the other release – Baar Baar Dekho, but if is able to garner good word of mouth buzz in the media and amongst the audience, it will certainly going to do better in terms of collection as well in the coming first weekend of the film. As per the current buzz and the trade pundits, Freaky Ali is likely to make a collection of around 5 crores on its first day as it promises a decent entertainment by Siddiqui. It will certainly see a surge in the coming first weekend, however, beating the other release- BBD will be a big deal for FA.
