Taapsee Pannu is back in news and this time for the biopic to be made on the ace International Cricketer called Mithali Raj. The film would be made under the banner of the big group -Viacom 18. Biopics have become the new norm of B Town and each year we see a couple of them hitting the screen. Amidst the buzz of the game, we have a new biopic now coming into the discussion.
However, we first heard about the biopic way back in 2017 and there seems to be a good buzz in the media. Earlier we saw the film discussed two years back and there were rumors about Taapsee getting hooked for the role. She has been approached now to play the lady cricketer on the silver screen. We know that Taapsee has been into sports and have even done some films based on it.
If you remember she has played the sports of hockey in films like Soorma and also in Manmarziyaan to some extent. Also, she has been roped in for the gritty roles in her first female sharpshooter as well for the film called s Saand Ki Aankh by Anurag Kashyap along with Bhumi Pednekar. To play this role, she is now being scheduled to go the training for a few months.
