Kangana Ranaut penned a note for Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif on breaking gender stereotypes
The wedding festivities for Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif have begun, and they are set to tie the knot on December 9. The wedding will be held in the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan. The magnificent shaadi will be attended by Kabir Khan, Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, and Sharvari Wagh. Kangana Ranaut appears to have reacted to Katrina Kaif’s wedding to Vicky Kaushal amid the hubbub. Kangana praised ‘wealthy and successful’ women for marrying younger guys and defying gender stereotypes in an Instagram post.
“Growing up, we heard many stories of successful rich men marrying much younger women… For women to be more successful than their husband was seen as a major crisis, forget marrying a younger man after a certain age, marriage was impossible for women… Nice to see rich and successful women, leading ladies of Indian film industry breaking the sexist norms… Kudos to men and women both for redefining gender stereotype,” she wrote.
Kangana had announced her desire to marry soon just a few days earlier. She also alluded to being in a romantic relationship. Kangana Ranaut was asked how she envisions her life in the next five years during the Times Now Summit. She said, “I definitely want to be married and have babies. I see myself as a mother five years down the line and as a wife, and of course as someone who is actively participating in the vision of new India.”
