EXCLUSIVE: Atul Kulkarni opens up on his journey; also talks about his recent film A Thusday
Bollywood’s one of the dignified actors, Atul Kulkarni‘s recent film A Thursday has just been released and it is currently streaming on an OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar. The film stars Yami Gautam, Atul Kulkarni and Neha Dhupia. The suspense thrilling film revolves around a strong and important topic on a rape case.
Well, recently we had got the opportunity to interview actor Atul Kulkarni, in the interview the actor opened up on his journey of 22 years from theatres to an OTT platform. Atul Kulkarni says it was his ‘right time at the right place’. The actor also talked about one of his classic cult films Chandni Bar and felt lucky enough to be a part of such films.
Talking about A Thursday, the actor says it was the story that hooked him up to do this film. The actor said, “The topic was extremely important but it was obvious how you beat the topic. Behzad narrated to me the film and how he is going to shoot it which made me say yes to do the film”.
When asked about his experience working with Neha Dhupia in the film, to this Atul couldn’t stop praising the actress for her bravery to do a film when she was 8 months pregnant. He says, “Hats off to Neha, the way she pulled up the role when she was 8months pregnant is commendable.” He added, ” It was a nice and cold comfort decision to have her.”
Talking about his upcoming projects, Atul Kulkarni has Rudra along with Ajay Devgn, Esha Deol, and Raashi Khanna which is all set to release on 4th March on Disney Plus Hotstar. Apart from that the actor also plays a crucial role in Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha which will be released on 11th August 2022.
