Salman Khan’s portrayal of Chulbul Pandey has become an iconic character in Bollywood. With his unique blend of desi swag and charisma, the actor has thoroughly entertained us with his portrayal of Chulbul, and fans have eagerly been anticipating the release of Dabangg 4. The Dabangg franchise began in 2010 with the first film becoming a massive box office success, eventually achieving cult status. The second installment released in 2012 and enjoyed similar success. After a gap of 5 years, Salman returned as Chulbul Pandey in Dabangg 3, which hit screens in 2019. However, unlike its predecessors, the third film didn’t perform as well and received a mixed response from the audience.

Due to the average response to Dabangg 3 and Salman Khan’s recent rough patch at the box office, there were rumors that Dabangg 4 had been put on hold. However, conflicting reports suggested that the film was still in the works. Now, Salman Khan himself has put an end to the confusion by confirming that the fourth installment is indeed happening and will be released soon.

Recently, at the screening of Raveena Tandon’s Patna Shukla, Salman Khan was asked about the status of Dabangg 4. Responding casually, he said, “Very soon. Once both brothers (referring to himself and Arbaaz Khan) agree on a script. Arbaaz wants to make something else, and I want something else. As soon as we lock a script, Dabangg 4 will be released.”

So, it appears that the delay in starting Dabangg 4 was due to Salman and Arbaaz Khan’s differing visions for the film.
