Bhat would be playing the character of a man called Bilal, who has his origin from Pakistan, while Fitoor happens to be a love triangle between Katrina and Aditya Roy Kapoor. The movie was first offered to Saif Ali Khan and Fawad Khan, however, the two Khans turned down the offer giving Bhat the opportunity for the film.
