Action Hero box office prediction: Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat starrer may have a promising run
An Action Hero, directed by Anirudh Iyer, stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat in prominent parts. It is scheduled to be published on December 2, 2022. In its most recent billboard, Ayushmann was shown posing with a rifle and seems rough and uneven. Its songs ‘Jehda Nasha’ and ‘Aap Jaisa Koi,’ starring Nora and Malaika, respectively, were just released.
The issue is poor promotion and a trailer that looks more like Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan, which bombed at the box office. Actors can still hope for a miracle.
Here are exclusive Box-Office projections for the film before of its release that it would make 2.25 crore on Day one and less than ten crore over the weekend. Week one might bring in $19 million, bringing the total lifetime box office haul to 25 cr. It is said to have cost around Rs 40 crore to produce.
It is unlikely that the picture will gross even 5 million on its first day. Anek (8.15 cr nett), Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui (28.26 cr), and Doctor G (26.45 cr) were released on May 27, 2022, December 10, 2021, and October 14, respectively. All of these COVID-19-induced lockdown movies performed poorly at the box office.
Ayushmann must be hoping for better box office results, but it appears he will have to wait a year to return with Dream Girl 2.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann attempted to imitate Ajay Devgn’s scene in which he is seen standing on top of two cars. He posted the photo to Instagram, wowing his fans as he performs the stunt.
He captioned the picture: “OG Action Hero ko naye Action Hero ka salaam. _Kaafi phool aur kaanton se guzarna padta hai doston.”
Talking about it, a source shared: “When the idea of recreating the iconic scene was suggested, Ayushmann immediately agreed and was really excited about it. He asked the team to make the necessary arrangements and the shot was taken the very same day.”
