Jee Le Zaraa: Alia Bhatt talks about her upcoming movie with Katrina and Priyanka, says, “It’s happening”

Who isn’t aware of Farhan Akhtar‘s upcoming directorial project ‘Jee Le Zaraa’? Last year, he announced this film based on a road trip starring A-list actresses Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, and Alia Bhat raising excitement among the audience. Fans of the Bollywood beauties are awaiting their first-ever collaboration and are excited to know when exactly the production process will commence.

Rumours about cancelling this upcoming flick are doing rounds since its announcement. Fans are wondering whether the project is happening or not. Now, Alia Bhatt has opened up about the much-awaited project putting a full stop to all the misconceptions.

“Yes, It’s Happening! Our movie will begin its production process next year. We can’t go on floors this year”, she said. While the exact reason for the delayed beginning is not known, her pregnancy might be the reason for postponing the shoot.

“We are not going to drop it. We will fight for it and all of us are excited about working together. It gonna be bigger than ever and we just can’t wait”, she added.

Alia also spoke about how the thought of working with Katrina and Priyanka excites her. According to her, it will be a unique experience for the three of them which will be led by Farhan Akhtar. His presence will add thrill to their journey.

To let you know Jee le Zaraa was announced in 2021 on the 20th anniversary of the super-hit movie ‘Dil Chahta hai. With This upcoming venture, Farhan will be returning to direction after a long 12 years. His last direction was Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Don 2′. It is also reported that Farhan has been working on the ‘Don 3’ script as well.

Well! You have to wait for another year for the release of this upcoming flick. It has been planned for a 2023 theatrical debut.
