Kriti Sanon’s sister Nupur Sanon is soon going to enter the Bollywood industry. The newbie is all set to make her big debut opposite none other than Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
The star took to his social media handle and shared the movie poster revealing that the film is titled ‘Noorani Chehra’.
Nawaz had captioned the post, “Come Fall in love with Noor and Hiba in #NooraniChehra #MismatchedCouple of the Year! Shooting begins today”

‘Noorani Chehra’ is directed by Navaniat Singh, and produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak. Talking about the project, Kumar Mangat shared in a statement, “In times when subjects like skin colour, body positivity and baldness have emerged in mainstream story-telling, it was time for a film to tackle a subject about looks head-on and share a worthy message! We are happy to announce a fresh Bollywood pairing of Nawazuddin and Nupur for this unique romance,” Pathak, who has produced films like ‘Raid’ and ‘Ujda Chaman’.”
Nupur Sanon had intended to study digital marketing, but she ended up acting alongside her sister in films. Nupur talked about her prior attempt at acting and how she auditioned for a film that was never made. A tabloid quoted her as saying, “I am a trained classical singer. I came to Mumbai in 2017 to study, but at the same time, I was pursuing singing. I used to share my videos on social media. One fine day, when Kriti was away for a shoot in Budapest, I got a call from a production house. They said they liked my videos and asked me to come for an audition. I thought they would share the lyrics with me, discuss the melody and make me sing. However, I was in for a surprise when the team told me that they were looking at casting me as the lead heroine.”
