Sharat Saxena is a popular actor from Bollywood. He was born and brought up in Jabalpur City in Madhya Pradesh. He did his schooling from the popular school called Saint Joseph Convent in Bhopal, while did his graduation in Electronics Engineering from Jabalpur Engineering College, however, since his childhood, he wanted to be an actor, which compelled him to head to Mumbai. However, his well built up physique made things tough for him to get any opening in B Town, which he finally got with the venture called Benaam, which followed a number of movies including Dil Dewana, Kala Patthar and Agent Vinod to name a few.

In his career of four decades in B Town, he has acted in more than 250 Bollywood movies as he started his career in B Town in the seventies getting supporting actor roles and negative roles. Some of his popular performances in movies include Mr. India, Ghayal, Tridev, Ghulam, Khiladi,, Baghban, Krissh, Fanaa, Ek Hi Raasta and Gupt to name a few. With these successful films, he was able to carve his niche in B Town. Apart from Bollywood movies, he also worked in South Indian movies, which include Telugu, Malayam and Tamil movies. Also, he was seen in small screen working in the mega serial called Mahabharat playing the role of Kichaka.

As far as awards are concerned, he was nominated for his couple of performances including for the negative character for the film Ghulam in Filmfare Awards, however, he couldn’t make it. He lives in Madh Island, which is in the outskirts of Bombay city along with his wife Shobha and two kids called Vishal and Veera. Some of his recent movies include Club 60, Bullet Raja, Singham Returns, Hasee Toh Phasee, Bajrangi Bhaijaan to name a few, while his upcoming films include Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
