The last month released Akshay Kumar starrer movie called Baby is still running in the theatre and has got decent collection apart from garnering positive reviews from the critics. Therefore its director Neeraj Pandey has all the reasons to embark with its sequel soon. Though nothing has come official but as per the insiders, the sequel has Akshay Kumar along with Varun Dhawan in the cast list of the film. Perhaps his performance in film like Badlapur as an action hero, he was approached by the filmmaker.
However the other report claims that it was Akshay Kumar who insisted the director to approach Varun Dhawan for the cast in the upcoming sequel of Baby. Talking to a leading daily, the director said that Akshay has known Varun since his childhood, while Akki has done a couple of movies with his father as well. Varun on the other hand has limited offers after Badlapur hence there are chances that he may consider the film. On the other side, the filmmakers are very much keen to bring Varun on the board. Let’s see how things move on as nothing seems to be official now.
