French Director Slams Saaho’ Makers and accuses Of Stealing His Film

Just when the B Town actress Lisa Ray slammed Saaho makers for copying a poster for the film, we now hear that a French filmmaker too has accused of stealing things from his film as well. The film though is doing well at the box office and is all set to enter the 100 crore club at the box office, while the worldwide collection of the action thriller is also going great guns, but things like these are coming too often. Interestingly the film did well despite the poor reviews by most of the critics.

The moment the film was released, people on social media started comparing it with the 2008 French-based film called Largo Winch. This soon alarmed the director of the said French film and he was also quick to air his views on the Microblogging site. While commenting on the same, he said the makers of Saaho have simply messed up with their film while stealing his work. This is not the first time when we have seen the filmmakers from the west accusing of plagiarism.

Earlier we heard that the film’s posters too were ‘copied’ from different sources particularly the one from an artist called Shilo Shiv, which was later pointed out by Lisa Ray. Every time such issues have been raised the makers have kept silent on this issue. While tweeting about the plagiarism issue raised by the French filmmaker, he said he seems to have a good career in Bollywood. He also expressed his awe while seeing the messing up of things with the film and suggested wished they could have done a better job rather than simply copying his film.
