The film Sui Dhaaga seems to be riding high at the box office when it comes to box office collection. The movie is going smooth over the box office as it was released in 2500 screens last Friday. Despite the two films coming this week, the film seems to be going unstoppable. The collection so far for the film has been going great guns over the box office. The actors in the lead roles have left no stone unturned to keep the promotion at high level to make things easy and promising for the movie. Let’s see how it has performed, the film has gained around 30 crore at the end of the 1st weekend, while it went high even on Monday and Tuesday.
The collection for the film on 2nd October went high giving the total figure of 43 crore and soon the film touched 50 crore as it reached to the first week. Even this Friday the film has performed decent and as per reports, the first week and one more day added have given a grand collection for Sui Dhaaga. The box office collection for Sui Dhaaga reached to around 59.50 crore, which is a decent amount after one week and the makers now are expecting to touch 70 crore with the end of the second week. The director of the film has managed to embark upon competent story and good performance film that has helped it to earn big over the box office.
Now, talking about the other film Pataakha, the movie by Vishal Bharadwaj was applauded for its rural content by the critics was completely rejected by the audience. The film had a poor show over the box office with the tale of two sisters fighting all the time in a rural setup. It did not attract the audience and thus had to suffer a lot over the box office. Vishal who is known for making different movies also tried something really different and unusual but he lost this time getting a good collection. The low star value and minimal promotion had suffered the film. As per reports, the 1st week box office collection is around 6.5 crore and this will move in a snail speed.
