Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah to star in Vikram Malhotra’s upcoming quirky comedy-drama
Vidya Balan is one of the finest actors in Bollywood. She is known for her acclaimed performances and strong roles in films. Vidya is one of the few actresses in the industry who has the ability to run the film on her own. The actress was last seen in producer Vikram Malhotra’s Shakuntala Devi: The Human-Computer. The film was released last year on Amazon Prime Videos amid the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown.
While the actress is busy with Malhorta’s yet another production Sherni, it has been reported that she has Joined Vikram for another exciting project. If the reports are anything to go by then this will be the third back-to-back collaboration between Vidya and Vikram.
As per the reports, Vidya will be doing Malhotra-led Abundantia Entertainment’s next evocative. It will be a quirky comedy-drama directed by her Tumhari Sulu fame Suresh Triveni.
It has also been reported that the ace actor will be joined by Shefali Shah in a pivotal role. Shefali who has been quite appreciated for her previous work in films and web shows will definitely bring the best in the project.
While details about the project are yet under wrap, it has been said that the narrative of the film is set in Bombay. It will bring out the social and economic contrast of the society.
It has been reported that both Vidya and Shefali had signed the dotted lines and will begin shooting from July this year.
