South Indian Star P Balachandran Passes Away at 62

A bad news there yet again in the South Indian film industry when we see their film star and a known author called P. Balachandran passed away this morning at the age of 62. He has been remembered a lot for his contributions to Malayalam Cinema along with the South Indian literature. As per reports, he was suffering from different ailments and was even getting the treatment before he said goodbye to the world at the same age. 

The veteran actor and author was born in 1952 in Kollam’s district of Sasthamkotta village of Kerala. He started working in the south Indian industry as an actor and screenwriter. While he started his career working in a landmark film called Gandhi by Richard Attenborough. He also appeared in a number of other movies like Thank you, Trivandrum Lodge and Silence to name a few. He was seen writing a number of scripts as well for movies like Police, Uncle Bun, and Kallu Kondoru Pennu along with many more. 

In 2012, he even was seen directing a film based on the life of Ivan Megharoopan who happens to be a poet P. Kunhiraman Nair, and the one who has directed him for his career. He is also remembered as a play writer and was even bestowed with a state level award in the last eighties. The Kerala star was last seen in the early 2020 in a political thriller. His death has created a dent in the industry while, he is survived by two sons and wife along with hordes of fans and others.
