OMG: Shahid Kapoor receives 13 stitches for his head injury on Jersey sets
As Shahid Kapoor is shooting up for his next South Indian remake film called Jersey with the same title, we now hear that the actor was injured while he was preparing for the film’s character for being a cricketer. The actor has already given a big film called Kabir Singh, which was also the remake of Arjun Pandit of South with the same story and the same director as well. Now, the next film Jersey.
However, he was busy preparing for his role as a cricketer, a ball on his lower lip hit him badly while he was facing it with the bat. Soon the blood started oozing out from his mouth taking him to the hospital. The doctor then treated him by giving 13 stitches on his lower lip giving the bruised lower lip and he was not able to continue the shoot with his swelling. It will take some time to heal which has prevented him to emote freely.
Shahid Kapoor who is more known as a professional actor is leaving no stone unturned to get a speedy recovery and thus would resume the shoot only after four to five days of time. Talking about the film, it has Gowtam Tinnanauri as its director, while it is produced by Allu Aravind, Aman Gill, and Dil Raju. The movie is all set to hit the screens on August 28, 2020.
