Actor Namish Taneja, who has appeared in several TV shows, is all set to star in Shrenu Parikh’s upcoming show, Maitree. The handsome actor has been finalised for the role of the male lead in this Zee TV serial. Recently, the actor talked about how he feels after doing a television show after a one-year gap and returning to the role of a lawyer on screen.
Namish revealed that he felt a great link with his character, which made him accept this role instantly.

While talking about his return to small screens, the actor stated, “I am returning to TV screens as a lead character after around an year.” This time, I will be in a totally different avatar. I am looking forward to playing Ashish, a successful lawyer who is a man of principles. With these values, he tries to help those in need. I relate to Ashish as I am also a family man, just like him. Family relationships and moral values mean a lot to me, and I can never compromise with them, just like Ashish. I hope to justify my character as well as the storyline of the show.

Maitree will start airing on Zee TV anytime this month or next. Ishqbaaz actress Shrenu Parikh will be seen opposite Namish Taneja. Shrenu is a versatile actor who can play any kind of role. She has played both positive and negative characters on television.
