Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 4 to finally begin filming in 2024?

Hrithik Roshan is presently filming Fighter, his first aerial action thriller starring Deepika Padukone. However, there is already a lot of excitement surrounding his next superhero film, Krrish 4. The film was announced in 2016, but even seven years later, the producers have yet to move through with the next step of production.

According to Peepingmoon, Rakesh Roshan has hired Agneepath filmmaker Karan Malhotra to direct the fourth edition of the Krrish franchise, which will hit theatres in the third quarter of 2024.

According to Peepingmoon’s source “The father-son duo Rakesh and Hrithik Roshan believe that Karan will breathe a new life into the Krrish franchise and have immense faith in his ability to deliver a world-class product. Rakesh Ji has locked in the basic plot to take the story forward and is currently working on the screenplay with a team of writers. Karan Malhotra will soon join the team and jointly work with Rakesh ji to bring out a visual spectacle to the audience.”

This will be Karan Malhotra’s second collaboration with Hrithik after Agneepath in 2012. Karan and Hrithik were previously supposed to be working on major projects such as Shuddhi and The Immortals of Meluha, but both were shelved.

The same source also revealed that Pathaan filmmaker Siddharth Anand has joined the project as a producer. If confirmed, Krrish 4 will be Hrithik’s fourth collaboration with Siddharth Anand, following Bang Bang, War, and the upcoming Fighter.
