1). Sadma (1983)

This is one of the soothing story of a school teacher played by Kamal Haasan and his emotional bond he shares with the girl played by Sridevi. The student has lost her memory in a car crash, while the relationship the two share has been stronger till she gets back her memory who then fails to remember the school teacher. The climax of the film is really disturbing when we see how Kamal tries to make her remember their relationship but soon it becomes an exercise to futility leaving the audience with moist eyes.

2). Anand (1971)

The film starring Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan wherein he sees some stellar kind of performances especially from the former actor. He is jovial in nature and make everyone happy but at the end he passes away due to the dreaded disease called Cancer leaving behind loads of crying eyes in the hall.

The newer one comes from Sanjay Leela Bhansali who has added new colour and dynamics in the film of top three stars of B Town- Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Aaishwarya Rai. The film has a tragic end wherein we fail to see the union of childhood lovers (Devdas and Paro), while the former passes away.

5). Rang De Basanti (2006)

The film witnesses the Youth Power and their tragic end when they challenges the corrupt system backed by filthy politics. 6). Kaagaz Ke Phool (1959)

No can compete with Guru Dutt both during his life time and after his demise in terms of incredible acting. His brilliant performance was witnessed in the film Kaagaz Ke Phool. 7). Taare Zameen Par (2007)

9). Ek Duuje Ke Liye (1981)

This Kamal Haasan and Rati Agnihotri starrer film showcases the two passionate lovers who are ready to take any step to get back their love. However, both of them are seen meeting drastic misfortunes as we see Kamal being attacked by the goons, while the lady is raped and left to pass away. Alas, both of them are seen jumping over a cliff in the finale.

10). Omkara (2006)
