Rajkummar Rao calls his character in Omerta to be the toughest in his B Town career

Rajkummar Rao is a talented actor and needs no introduction in B Town. He has impressed with his performance in several movies including Trapped, Newton, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shadi Mein Zaroor Aana and Behen Hogi Teri along with the web series Bose: Dead/Alive. He is an accomplished actor and leaves no stone unturned to give his best for the character he does in each film. Likewise he is back with another film, which is called Omerta. The film is from Hansal Mehta and the makers have released the poser and the trailer as well in the recent time, which has kicked off the debate the way he has performed over the silver screen.

Also, the actor shared the poster on the microblogging site along with sharing the release date, which is releasing mid-April. Before he shared the poster of the film, he also said that while playing the character of an antagonist, it was not that easy for him to play as he called it to be the toughest in his character in his career. He said with his film we will see the antagonist would be rising high. The film is based on Omar Saeed Sheikh who happens to be a real story.

He further said that the film is not easy to sell and promote in the media since it is about a man who happened to be the most unsympathetic person on earth. He said it is not just that the film has the hard character to play but making such film and presenting it over the screen is equally. He said that only the courageous people like Hansal Mehta can dare to make such films.

The film has already been applauded at the Toronto International Film Festival along with the Jio MAMI film held last year. It happens to be an intense drama movie, which is based on a terrorist from UK called Omar Saeed who was released in exchange of the passengers who were hijacked in 1999 Indian Airlines flight and was even accused later by killing Daniel Pearl the known journalist.
